Add+VantageMR Champion Professional Development Course

What is the Add+VantageMR Champion Professional Development Course?
This program provides participants with the framework, tools, and techniques needed to conduct the Add+VantageMR Course 1 and Course 2. This training is essential in creating professional development sustainability for Math Recovery programs at the district level.
How Does It Work?
The AVMR Champion Professional Development program is covered in five days of course work. It encompasses every aspect Champions will need in order to deliver thorough instruction to AVMR teachers in both Course 1 and Course 2.
Each participant in the AVMR Champion program will receive a Trainer’s Kit, which includes:
- Champion Handbooks
- A flash drive and DVDs with documents and video clips needed to lead both AVMR courses
Upon completing this program, participants become Certified In-District Add+VantageMR Champions allowing them to conduct Add+VantageMR Courses for teachers within their district. AVMR Champions can not only support teachers within their own districts with these two courses, but also have the flexibility to modify the training to meet the specific needs of their own district.
In order to become an out-of-district consultant you must become a Certified Math Recovery Leader and gain the approval of the US Math Recovery Council.
Who Should Take AVMR Champion Professional Development Course?
In order to participate in the course, you must first complete the Math Recovery Intervention Specialist Professional Development program as well as participate in the Add+VantageMR Course 1 and Course 2.
How Much Does It Cost?
