Course Details
MRIS Extending the Framework (ETF) is a 2-day course for Math Recovery® Intervention Specialists, Champions, and Leaders. This course focuses on early multiplication and division knowledge and strategies. This aspect of the Learning Framework in Number draws on research conducted by Joanne Mulligan and utilizes an associated model of five levels. Participants will receive a handbook, assessment materials for two assessments, and instructional strategies for developing conceptual understanding of equal composite groups and facility with multiplication and division. This course is recommended for any MRIS, Champion, or Leader and is especially important when delivering the updated AVMR Course 2 professional development.
