Math lessons are conducted in real-time via Zoom, either in a one-on-one or small group setting. Lessons can be scheduled before, during or after school and through the summer.

Each 30-minute lesson features targeted, evidence-based instruction to advance a student's math skills. Students engage in rigorous tasks, using their math kit tools and digital resources. Watch below to see how instructors engage with children in actual lessons.

Instructors use a series of pre-assessments to understand a student's current skill set and create personalized learning goals. They design short-, mid-, and long-term objectives with targeted tasks to support the student's mathematical progress.

Flexible funding streams are available for our tutoring service. If there are specific criteria needed to apply for funding, we will work with your school or district to determine if we meet specific requirements. Some funding sources that may support Math Champs services include Title 1, IDEA, Special Education Funding, Title 4 Part B, Extended Learning, CARES Act, GEER II, and more.

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• State licensed teachers
• Experience teaching in classrooms and in the virtual setting

At the start of services, your district will be assigned a Math Champs Liaison to communicate student progress throughout the teaching cycle. Your district will receive pre-assessment data, a midway progress report, and post-assessment data for each student. Additionally, you will have access to detailed lesson plans and daily instructor reflections.

Math Champs lessons consist of 30-minute sessions, delivered over 10-20 weeks. The number of sessions can be adjusted based on the district's needs, with session frequency ranging from 2 to 5 times per week.
*We recommend that students participate in 3 or more lessons per week.
