The US Math Recovery Council® National Conference provides awareness, support, and continuing education for those striving to ensure all students have access to high-quality mathematics instruction. Conference attendees and presenters gather from across the US and other nations to learn, share, connect, and build strong collegial support networks. Attendees learn about the most recent research and developments within USMRC’s products and services, including Math Recovery® Specialist, Add+VantageMR®, Math Champs®, and Ready Set Math®. Sessions address theory, pedagogy, implementation, and alignment with core mathematics instruction. The conference offers the opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues, old and new. Whether you are an administrator, a teacher, a math coach, a teaching assistant, a college student, or an interventionist, you will find a range of session offerings to meet your needs.

US Math Recovery Council® takes allergies seriously and strives to offer food options to meet the dietary needs of all attendees. USMRC works with the hosting hotel to provide safe and delicious meals in a buffet style with allergen ingredients labeled or removed. Despite taking every precaution, we cannot guarantee that menu items are free of trace amounts of allergens or meet the need for a very limited diet or life-threatening allergies. Please request all dietary needs during the registration process.

Attendees often wear comfortable and casual clothing. The temperature inside the meeting rooms should be comfortable, although you may want to bring layers. You may also want to bring comfortable walking shoes to explore the area, a jacket for evening outings, running/walking shoes for the Fun Run, and clothing appropriate for the Virginia climate.

Registration fees will vary based on whether you are a member, non-member, early bird, or part of a group. Make sure your membership is current and renew your membership before registering for the conference if needed. To get the best value, keep your membership up-to-date and register before the Early Bird deadline of February 1, 2025.

USMRC is excited to offer a group discount of 5% for groups of 5 or more. All group members must register as part of the same order.

Because attending the conference can be part of recertifying requirements for some USMRC certifications, it is important that all conference registrations are connected to each person's USMRC membership account. If a third party needs to register for you, please be sure they are able to log into your membership account and they must fill in the conference attendee's information and not their own.

If you are not a USMRC Member and do not have an account, you must "create" a free account before registering for the conference. If you have previously taken a course, registered for past conferences, or purchased from USMRC and cannot remember your password, please do not create a second account. Click on the "forgot password" button and follow the instructions to reset your password.

As always, we encourage that you bring colleagues and friends with you to the US Math Recovery Council® conference. Each attendee will need to register and pay to attend the conference. Attendees are not required to have participated in USMRC courses.

The USMRC Conference is an important forum for adult learning, teacher resource sharing, and face-to-face networking interactions. USMRC is committed to providing an environment that supports a successful and engaging experience for all adult attendees. Due to the size and teaching nature of the conference, this event is not an appropriate setting for children under 18 years of age. Exceptions to this rule will be made for nursing mothers and their infants. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Sessions offered within the 3-day conference consist of keynote sessions, featured-speaker sessions, author sessions, and sessions led by friends and members of the USMRC community. The conference offers a range of sessions important to teaching and learning mathematics, as well as implementing USMRC professional development and programs. A variety of 1-hour and 2-hour sessions allow for various depths of conversation and learning to take place throughout the event. A Classroom Learning Lab experience is an authentic way for educators to deepen understanding, improve practice, and increase accuracy through collaboration. Join us for an off-site Learning Lab at a local district focused on implementing Add+VantageMR® in assessment and instructional strategies in practice.

The University of the Pacific is now offering one graduate credit for attending the 2025 National Conference. More information on course EDUP 9877 is available on their site.

The Falls Church Marriott is conveniently located less than 50 miles from three different airports with many taxi services, Uber, Lyft, etc. available.
The hotel does offer an area shuttle that stops at Dunn Loring and will provide transportation from there to the hotel, if you take the DC Metro.

Take the free airport shuttle from the terminal to the BWI Amtrak Station.

Take either an Amtrak or a MARC train southbound to Washington Union Station.

Take the Metro red line westbound toward Shady Grove. Disembark at Metro Center.

Take the Metro Orange line westbound toward Vienna. Disembark at Dunn Loring.

There are several airport options. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is 19 miles away, Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 21 miles away, and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is 50 miles from the Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park.

The Falls Church Marriott offers a free Neighborhood Shuttle daily from 7am – 10pm. Enjoy daily complimentary shuttles to Fairview Park offices, as well as the popular Mosaic District for a night of dining and entertainment, and to Dunn Loring Metro Station to experience the monuments and cultural happenings in Washington, D.C.

The shuttle is a 14-passenger shuttle bus that goes to the following stops:
